Become a Vital Part of Emenent Words
Emenent Words is a nonprofit writing club dedicated to promoting creativity, literacy, and self-expression in our community. Our mission is to make writing accessible and enjoyable for everyone discovering their passion for storytelling. Through workshops, mentoring sessions, and creative gatherings, we help students (6th grade to 9th grade) of all backgrounds find joy in writing, connect with fellow storytellers, and grow together.
We are currently seeking adult instructors who are passionate about writing and teaching to support our monthly workshops. Each session takes place on the second or third Saturday of the month and lasts about 1.5 hours. Instructors will lead a 30-minute segment to either (1) provide feedback on student essays or (2) share writing techniques and insights that inspire discussion and learning. This is a great opportunity to guide young writers, share your experience, and contribute to a meaningful community program.
As a token of appreciation, adult instructors will receive a $50 honorarium per session. If you enjoy mentoring and believe in the power of storytelling, we would love to have you join our team. Please reach out Julie Wang at contact@emenent.org for any details.
